Basically “E-Commerce” and “Direct Selling Business” are the two different types of “Consumer Empowerment Opportunity” based business model. E-Commerce & Direct Selling, both are most probably similar for business Point of view.
Basically, If we will discuss about *Direct Selling” by considering business point of view, then simply we can say, It’s a very cost effective way to start a startup and to make a own business model.
By using this business channel, we can able to bring our product to consumers or market easily and effectively. Here we will not feel any work stresses, because in this business model, we are our own boss.
Why I am saying it’s a “Consumer Empowerment Opportunity” based business model, let’s discuss about this …
Till now whatever commodities we are consuming or using in our daily life, basically we are purchasing from any shopping malls or from any retail shop by paying on the basis of MRP. If We study in deep, suppose MRP of a product is 100 rupees, you will feel crazy after know one thing that… The cost of manufacturing and all additional cost of the company is approximately 40 % of MRP.
That means, suppose a product having 100 rupees MRP. Then, only the cost of product is approximately 40% of MRP, that is 40 rupees. But if we are purchasing this product from traditional market, then we have to pay 100 rupees, that means 60 % extra we are paying .
So ultimately we can say that, If we are buying any product from traditional market, then simply we are empowering the middle men. We are just making of non profitable and non returnable expenditures.
But, if we are associating with any genuine direct selling company and we are purchasing our needy products from that direct selling business model. Then, we can empower our self, ultimately we can create financial support for us. I will explain how…
Here, in direct selling business model, there will be no middle man, there will be no advertising agents or stars and celebrates. Instead of that, we will be the middle man and also we will promotes our products with people. So as we discussed, the rest 60 % of MRP will be distributed to the consumers directly. So, that’s why the “Direct Selling Business Model” is ultimately identified as “Consumer Empowerment Opportunity”.
